I like to ride bikes.
I feel like something’s wrong here but just can’t quite put my finger on it.

I knew I could feel the demonic energy coursing through me while working out today.

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

Was researching the coffee bike idea today and hit up the Small Business Admin website for some info, and they’ve got that bullshit Democrat-blaming message on their header in bright red. This is illegal, right?

Got laid off as an app developer earlier this year, and job hunting has been extremely fruitless. Currently fighting the urge to buy one of these and just sell coffee by bike.

I love how Google spotlights these AI results that put up blatantly bad math.

Not every hardware trip needs a trailer (or a car/truck). Most of the time, a milk crate or pannier can handle the job quite nicely! If only they would install bike racks so I wouldn’t have to lock to a tree. @thewaroncars.bsky.social

Due to logistical challenges today, I drove in to work instead of riding my bike. Probably 2nd time in a year. But the amount of shit I am getting from people who wouldn’t even DREAM of biking to work is getting old very quickly.

A couple Bros in Christ next to me at Sunergos, discussing Dave Chapelle and how they like him but don’t think he’s super funny. And the height of irony, while discussing this very famous comedian, debating each other on whether or not he is still “canceled.”

At my daughter’s School of Rock performance and, unsurprisingly, the dad who saved like 1/4 of the tables at the place for people who showed up 2/3 through the show is also a 1-3 clapper. No class. No style.

Game designers, please take note of an oft-overlooked feature that has already made me like the new Indiana Jones game:

LARGER FONT SIZE OPTION

Too many games have me squinting at the screen from the couch!

Keep screaming about the plans for the 4-story apartment building that’s replacing the parking lot because it’ll ruin the character of the neighborhood. If we didn’t make natural density illegal, this wouldn’t have come to such a tipping point. www.kentucky.com/news/politic...

Had a minor crash today. Thankfully, I was on my bike. Instead of $1000s to repair a car (plus an extra depreciation hit), it will be <$100 to fix my brake lever. Seems like a good trade for a couple small bandaids.

Why is it that every fucking grant or program or “initiative” in this damn town is for planning, and never for execution? Do you know how many goddamn plans we have that just get shelved? Use one of the existing plans! Make something happen!! For fuck’s sake!! www.transportation.gov/grants/ss4a/...
