In the nearly two years I've been here, I've really appreciated people's commitment to alt text. If you post images and sometimes forget to use alt text, this setting is so helpful! Settings > Accessibility > Require alt text

Oh bless her! Our cat was on pretty high doses of gabapentin before his leg amputation last year, and it was a hilarious tonic in a time of pain and worry. Wishing for a swift, smooth recovery x

Home alone last night, I felt compelled to experiment with 10 second exposure photos to snap myself 🤣 This at 11pm, pitch dark outside, aurora revealed only in photos. #NoFilter, as the kids used to put it.

Do I have any good tree-recognisers here? I'd love to know what these two are. The first is amazingly fragrant. Both are just beside Westminster Abbey.
Most of the frame is the branches and leaves of an unidentified tree (by me, at least). It has variagated green and yellow leaves. On the very right hand side you can see Victoria Tower, part of the Houses of Parliament. Tree leaves and branches, with sprays of fine flowers. Tree leaves and seed pods. I bloody love a random scarecrow. Local village reliably produces an excellent crop for their annual festival.
