Today the rabbit distribution system brought this little tinker into our lives. My husband found him at the side of the road when he was out cycling, and we have set him up in our bath while we hunt for his owner.

We hope that he has just escaped and that someone didn’t dump him. He is so friendly

The truth: we need migration.

The problem: too many politicians are terrified to say it.

Why? They're led by a) toxicity of the charlatans & b) wealthy media organisations who demand these useful distractions rather than us talking about inequality.

Reject it. Draw the line.

British media pumps out daily propaganda pieces for Farage, fails to offer *any scrutiny* and basically legitimises rampant racism, then puts on its ‘innocent face’ and clutches its pearls at the rise of the far right…
What a grim betrayal of our democracy.

Reform, with 0.7% of all MPs, featured in 25% of BBC's recent 10pm news bulletins
Astonishingly, a party with 18 times as many MPs as Reform has received one-third less coverage on BBC News at 10.

I of course welcome the recognition of the state of Palestine.

And there won't be a Palestinian state left if government's continue enabling Israel's unfolding genocide.

Labour can't credibly support Palestinian statehood whilst also continuing to arm Israel.

Today’s “oops I forgot about that” moment: this amaryllis.

I bought it at Christmas in the Dobbies closing down sale, shoved it in the under stairs cupboard and promptly forgot about it.This evening, I was greeted with this.

I will be forever grateful to the in-home nurses that helped care for my Mum in her final months, several of whom were on foreign worker visas. If Starmer’s proposals represent the “neighbours” in Britain, I want to be with the “strangers”.

The respectful way Keir Starmer talked about foreign workers when he was running for Labour leader is the exact OPPOSITE of the Farage-cloned way he talks about them now. But to see it here in black & white is still SHOCKING!
