I feel like my generation experienced Peak Internet and we’re now on a downward trend.
Google Search sucks. You can’t trust Amazon ratings. Twitter & Reddit are at war with their users. Every useful news site is paywalled and every garbage one is free.

A key challenge for Bluesky going forward is that its foundational premise (choose your own feed algorithm and content moderation) is in conflict with what many people expect (centralized content moderation).
It’s going to be a leadership and communications challenge for them to navigate this.

Streaming is broken.
For customers, for the providers, for the creators?

Disney+ and Hulu are joining HBO Max in removing lots of shows from streaming for cost savings reasons.
These companies now believe these shows cost more in royalties than they generate in retaining or attracting subscribers.
This is a far cry from the spray and pray approach pioneered by Netflix.
