If you think things like being trans is inherently a democratic thing and that it's politically biased. Can we also make the argument that a person whose expertise is in law is giving his opinion on something medical wouldn't that be inherently biased within itself?
To that end, I found Justice Thomas's concurrence on medical care for transgender youth quite illuminating. He argues that many of our so-called "experts" have used bad arguments and substandard science to push experimental therapies on our youth.

As a father it's weird to see grown men with kids talk about women in the same way middle schoolers would talk about girls.
