This might just be a pet peeve of mine, but when published articles or psychometric assessments use “he/she” to try and be inclusive in their instructions, they’re still missing the mark when simply including “they” is available and just as proper.

Exactly this. The entire dance was done specifically to benefit Trump and make sure everyone knows that it's he who "saved" TikTok. It's a very successful PR stunt for Trump.
want to be excruciatingly clear about this: TikTok didn't have to go dark last night and it didn't have to turn back on this morning.

Any dept. which seeks to “slash excess regulations” is actually just trying to make it legal for companies to cut corners and make even shittier products with quicker turnover- give it a couple years but we’ll see lots of issues like we saw with Boar’s Head deli meats start popping up…
apparently it’s a blue ribbon commission reporting to the omb director with a set termination date and we’re just calling it a department
