Remember when I told you to look up denaturalization?
The White House has ordered the US Dept. of Justice to prioritize denaturalization: voiding the citizenship of US citizens.
Who will it denaturalize? "Any" case that it "determines to be sufficiently important".
Point 10 leaves the criteria opaque and arbitrary.

So grateful to be able to go back to Vietnam in a week and meet with other adoptees at our orphanages. I started a project called Adoptive Threads and am partnering with Operation Reunite to help birth mothers in Vietnam obtain a DNA test kit so that they can search for biological children #adoptee

Today in court I successfully got an order to put an adoptee client’s biological father on the original birth record. The client now qualifies for German citizenship as a descendant of Jews persecuted and murdered by the Nazis. 🥚

The very idea of a registry of infant suppliers—of breeders for baby buyers—is fascism.

How many times I read this to my kids without ever connecting it to my adoption. 59 years ago today I was separated from my mother but this year I found her 🩷
