Gotcha Force for the Gamecube was the first non-handheld game that I ever owned. I don't know if it would still hold up but I played it every day from age 10 to 12 over and over again.

The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I think I was a bit young for it when I picked it up. but it explains all my humor and how I think about elements of fantasy
As a kid, books were always picked for me by school or family. The first time I got to choose, I picked “Gilead’s Blood” by Dan Abnett & Nik Vincent. Brooding, over the top, fun narrator, kinda messy, etc.
24 years later it’s still sitting on my shelf, pages yellowed & smelling of old paper & ink.

I want to talk about something that's been on my mind recently as I spend more time GMing #Pathfinder2e, trying to make homebrew stuff for it,and designing my games to work with my players. A piece of design is pretty unique in the TTRPG space and I want to appreciate that.

#warhammercommunity, help me out. I’m interested in tabletop but everything seems prohibitively expensive. Even introductory stuff like Combat Patrol are $150+. Is there a way to get into the hobby that doesn’t cost so much, esp given idk if I even like it?

I recently made a comic complaining that NASA refuses to listen to my good ideas for improving the Solar System (xkcd.com/2750).
To my delight, NASA’s Science Mission Directorate has sent me an actual expert panel evaluation of my “flatten the planets” proposal! Sadly, they decided not to fund it.
