If Disney is openly letting AI make money off of using their characters, then they should also forfeit copyright and let us regular animators make money off of their characters without having to wait for them to fall into public domain. 🤔

If Disney is openly letting AI make money off of using their characters, then they should also forfeit copyright and let us regular animators make money off of their characters without having to wait for them to fall into public domain. 🤔
One "positive" about genAI is that its caused me to lose interest in social media almost entirely since I see too much of it. Now I seek out group working sessions with other artists and do/watch more livestreams, where I know the art being produced is human. It's WAY more social than social media.

The dialogue around the actors in Wicked is a bit disheartening. It's one thing to try to encourage someone to get help, its another when people armchair diagnose others with eating disorders when there are a whole host of medical issues that can cause being underweight. It's none of our business.

Switched over yesterday. Hoping it sends democrats a message that they've failed the American people with this shutdown. I'd recommend doing research on your own state's open vs closed primaries before doing this. Apparently "independent party" is a right leaning party and "no party" is independent.

Seeing people call the SCOTUS decision to not overturn gay marriage a "small victory." Not touching a right is not a victory, it's the bare minimum. This week alone they've ruled to take food from hungry Americans and put trans people in danger when they travel. Don't settle for less, demand more.
