For a moment, I thought I'd lost the Injured Jockeys' Fund bauble, but it has now turned up in the old suitcase in the loft, the only acceptable storage for Christmas decorations.

The young gentleman sitting across the aisle from me has a Lego set he said he was going to build during the journey. It seems that was just a bit of joshing with his companion, as he's put it up on the shelf now.

It had escaped me that the Tote has now become Britbet at the ARC courses as of the 1st November. At least they got their new signage up in time here at Lingfield Park.
