For a moment, I thought I'd lost the Injured Jockeys' Fund bauble, but it has now turned up in the old suitcase in the loft, the only acceptable storage for Christmas decorations.

There you are. When the lights are on in earnest, I have them alternating on and off, otherwise the batteries run down too quickly.

I was fortunate enough to be diverted over it a couple of years ago and it did feel like a privilege. It made me go to Rutland to view it from ground level!
