From the NYT today, this says it all,

“[The Republicans] have become the party that stands in the way of lower energy prices for American households.”

I say we change today’s holiday from flag day to “Take back our Flag Day” from the orange stain in the White House.

Cheers to all the brave patriots who turned out to protest. #NoKingsDay

For 11 years I have spent a lot of time arguing that the western world must oppose Russian terror and aggression.
What amazes me is that opposing Russia is still something that is debated, not universally agreed on.
How could we become such miserable cowards?

“But that’s not what really made me angry. It was that these little statements point to the moral rot at the core of Trumpism, which every day disgraces our country, which we are proud of and love…

If you distrust Anthony Fauci, a medical doctor and scientist who spent 40 years as the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, but you trust RFK Jr., a lawyer and drug addict with no medical degree or training of any kind in medicine or science, you might be a moron.

Just listened to the Hur interview tape
and I’m utterly appalled at all the incoherent and crazy things Biden said about Revolutionary War airports, injecting bleach, people eating cats and dogs, Hannibal Lecter, and Arnold Palmer’s penis. Simply unbelievable that he ran for president again.

Sad to hear David Ignatius of the Washington Post on @morningjoe drinking the Trump Kool-Aid. Everything Trump is doing in the Middle East is for his own benefit and not for benefit of the people of the US. Remember Foxconn? How did that work out for Wisconsin?

I think every seller of goods in the US should publish the list price of the products being sold together with the increase in price occasioned by the Trump tariffs. We consumers have a right to know what we are paying

The question is: why is Trump so anxious to prevent the people from knowing what they are paying in taxes (for that’s what tariffs are)?
