Very sad, just terrible. The protest is taking place a half mile from my house. Was going to walk over with my wife and kids before this order went out.

Re Trump vs. Musk, etc.: “The older I get, the more I like sane, sober, and steady. Even staid. I like those qualities in government. If I want the operatic, I can go to the opera.”

I don't know. Evers served honorably, was proud of his service, and his widow took the lead role in the christening of the ship as the sponsor

Trump's whole economy is taking trends that were going up and sending them the other way

Just a complete national own goal with an immense cost

"Alexa, play the song where daddy throws out his back for a sight gag"

He blew the risqué part off, but finds it hilarious to play the song and suddenly lay down and sing "I'm still standing" so that's what we do multiple times a day

I vaguely remembered the video from when I was kid having a shot of Elton singing "I'm still standing" while laying down.

After Sing, I thought I'd play the video for my 6 year old, was a little more risqué than I remembered.

Also, please donate to the Charity Bowl, my mother loves and respects pettiness and spite, do it for her (you can even donate for Carleton College, where she wore miniskirts in -10 temperatures because it was 1966 and she was going to do it goddammit)

As a pastor of small and older congregations, I know this will eventually be a huge problem, faking a pastors voice asking for donations.

They already do it with phising emails

No better time to pick it up again than now

At our club, if you lose at least the winning team has to buy the first round

Have any of you curled or currently in a league?

I started 4 years ago, joined a Sunday night league with some other middle aged dads. Probably the best thing I've ever done

Also, I really appreciate the work of the team at my church that decorates the Sanctuary. It looked amazing, showcasing the Last Supper.

A look at Jesus interacting with the Pharisees and Herod, but keeping his focus on his mission. I think this is the key for Christians in this age, as divisive and problematic things might be, we are still fundamentally called to live out the mission the Lord has put before us.
