Terrible news about Eddie Jordan. He was a character, and a bit of a Jack the Lad in many ways, but his heart always seemed in the right place. His podcast with DC was tremendous; and he was always looking to inspire people. If his legacy is anything, it should be 'go for it'.

Mariella Frostrop is really unbelievably snobbish about horror. No concept of subtext.

The gentrification of live music is wild. In the 90s/2000s, I paid roughly £15 quid to see Travis, never paid more than £25 to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers between the 95-2005 ish. Now it's 3x that for current bands. For what? Not inflation that's for sure. Some one album wonders are £100+!

And lo, another son wants his weapons charges quashed.
Door suddenly opened just as I came while wanking. Quickly switched the tab from busty porn but that just made things worse. My mother in law has now seen me cock in hand, blowing my load to a picture of Joe and Hunter Biden.

Okay, concepts rarely go production, but Jaguar describing this using the cliche "uncompromising" is just embarrassing. A totally clueless design direction. Who is this car actually for? What purpose will it serve? They clearly don't know, and ultimately this could kill the Jaguar brand.

No matter how bad my day, I keep my perspective by realising that someone, somewhere has to wash Donald Trump's underwear.

Broadcasters are obsessed with putting emotive music and poetry to rugby trails, painting a picture of honour, chivalry, dignity. Rugby players, meanwhile, drink piss and beer out their mates shoes, dare each other to eat slugs, teabag other for pranks and do so while being immensely posh. Go figure

I've been here for a wee while now and an advocate to anyone who'll listen, but over the past few days the experience has been even better. Suppose I have to thank Trump and Elon for something...
Other than that they can feck right off. 😀

Ben Doak absolutely exceptional tonight. Christie, McLean and Hanley looked amateurish at times. Craig Gordon though? What a phenomenal professional. At his age, reflexes that rival any keeper in the world. Wow. He just continues to be an inspiration.

I've just learned that The Onion has bought Infowars. 'Whaaa?' you might say. But read the most brilliant editorial I've ever read on an acquisition and you'll soon be whooping with joy.

Today we celebrate a new addition to the Global Tetrahedron LLC family of brands. And let me say, I really do see it as a family. Much like family members, our brands are abstract nodes of wealth, int...

Oooft, talk about powerful. Stand up for what you believe in.
Goosebumps. This is awesome.

A controversial bill, attempting to alter the treaty between Māori people and The Crown was introduced.

Many folks, esp. Māori folks, have raised concern and opposition to it, citing it will negatively impact their communities.

Shredded it in Parliament, doing Haka!

Love him or hate him, Max Verstappen remains the most talented driver on the grid by a country mile. That performance, in the wet, was one of the most incredible I've seen. Only Schumi has driven better in the wet in my lifetime. As much as I like him, Lando doesn't have the guts of Max.

Years after Brexit and I've found Boris' fabled TimTams. Reduced for quick sale. Plastic tasting Penguins without the jokes.
It's like the perfect metaphor for Brexit

Well this has dredged up an old, childhood fear!
It's been 38 years and I still check when I'm downing any drink from any bottle that there's not a tequila worm in the last dregs, ready to introduce itself to my digestive system and get vomited up as a human-sized limbless, skinless, tentacled corpse preacher.

This story is so important. Water is so important to all of us and these companies have a responsibility to make sure it is clean and safe if they're to be paying big bonuses to shareholders and CEOs.
But make no mistake this is just a drop in the ocean.

Ofwat could be scrapped in water industry review
A new commission will conduct the biggest review of the struggling sector since privatisation.

Listening to a first date. Guy hasn't asked the girl a question for 20 minutes. Finally, "can I ask you a question?" Oooh. "What's your favourite thing about me so far." This is gonna be good.

Nice to see St Mirren are keeping amateur farmers busy by employing them to look after their pitch.

Oh wow, super surprise. Allegations not clear on the Horner position. Aka, they allowed the publicity to go unchecked, the allegations don't stack up, and Red Bull are in a legal pickle. Who would have thought???
February 9, 2024 at 11:23 PM
By far the most troubling thing about the Christian Horner allegations is the number of people leaping to the same conclusion or suggesting what they are without an iota of evidence. It does seem clear that RB want him out though - too much in the public domain already.

Watching the Hibs Hearts game is like watching 22 people who have just learned that a football is and haven't yet been told the ball has to go in that big netted thing. Desperate

So I've been here for a week and haven't quite got into the habit of using this as often as I could, still defaulting to the horrendous twitter husk. Weird. How can I make the most of Bluesky do you think?
