We'll agree to disagree. You don't know the power of an open question compared to the weaknesses of a closed one. Longer term, no relationship building to build trust to answer more openly

Really? You think the answers she got were good? If you do that's absolutely astonishing.

And you can tell all the drivers think she's dreadful because they've all been monosyllabic to her.
June 1, 2025 at 3:52 PM
An open question is "describe what happened between you and Max". She didn't do that, she asked a closed question with caveats and criteria. She made statements then hid behind "the people at home". It's unprofessional. She's always dreadful, but particularly so today.

Completely agree. She's amateurish at the best of times but she needs to keep her bias out to be taken seriously at all. I think she should be boycotted for her behaviour.

What absolute tosh. It's racing, not Health and Safety Stimulator
June 1, 2025 at 3:41 PM
She's absolutely appalling. Bias in questions is terrible journalism. Utterly negative and detracts from everything. Something fun happens and it's all 'ooh the devil is here'. Amateur hour at #SkyF1

Just say sausage.

Literally wouldn't care. A Mars bar costs 1.25 in my local shop now. I'd rather shell out £2 for a Secret.

Also people spend £3 on these BS protein bars thinking it'll make them buff, so I don't think that's an issue anymore.

You are aware that you can use olive oil instead of butter? And why you using olive oil to stuff things up your arse?

Allowing for Christmas, the average Waitrose 12 bag of pigs and blankets weighs 252g. That's a KILO of pigs and blankets? That's also 3,280 kcal, 250g of fat, 64g of carbs and 14g of salt.
Not judgin'. Just sayin.

Hmm, 2 tackles and four ground duels against a team that dominated possession in the middle of the park, and only 56 touches? He was good, but not a titan. Also few of those passes were forward.

Long story short, chain businesses killing local business, destroying local revenue and forcing people into national ad-supported content, because chains buy in bulk, not individual ads. So you rely on clicks for cash via ad banners instead of traditional timed, high profile placements.
February 19, 2025 at 11:25 AM
It completely erodes trust; but it also highlights something bigger, a lack of investment in original journalism. 'Local' titles are making clickbait out of national news in a desperate swing for content and cash. Paywall with proper local journalism is the way forward - if people WANT local news.

This - this is the crossover I've been waiting for

Blimey, there's a lot of stuff going on in my post there! I love the brevity of Bsky, and the more sensible discourse, but it does mean you don't get to expand on points. By outliers I mean exceptions that prove the rule... Or don't. Those who shout loudest etc.
January 29, 2025 at 4:51 PM
Yeah, very true! The strength of this is the volume of studies, of course, and while I've not gone through each one, it'd be astonishing if they were all wrong! But there will always be outliers. And it shows how little knowledge our medics' advice is often based on...
