I’ve seen the government act for good and ill, and I always prefer the good
Shit. I thought I had at least a few more days of him shopping for marble before I had to start paying attention again.

The Trump Administration's latest rationale for killing striken seamen was that they knew that two men had survived the initial strike but that they "needed to sink the vessel" so they fired again.

That is the EXACT same defense Heinz-Wilhelm Eck used after WWII. He was found guilty and executed.
Pentagon knew boat attack left survivors but still launched a follow-on strike, AP sources say
The Pentagon knew there were survivors after a September attack on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean Sea and the U.S. military still carried out a follow-up strike.

So yesterday Trump was holding hands with MBS, and today he's demanding the execution of two Senators and four Representatives.
Seems like something rubbed off

I went to bed thinking ‘Trump lost a big court case on tariffs so he’s going to be mad and do something extra mean today’

I grew up in a sweet and gentle home so I don’t really know, but I sense this must be a little like life with an abusive parent?

The office is one of several left without an overnight forecaster as a result of cuts ordered by the Department of Government Efficiency.

I’m not apologizing for Cramer, and I agree with the economic experts that the tariffs are a profoundly dumb idea implemented by a profoundly dumb man. But I can sympathize with Cramer on one point: I didn’t see it coming either that the President would not know the meaning of “reciprocal.”
