In Florida she would not be disbarred for an initial single offense, but she would be reprimanded and perhaps be forced to take a CLE course.

My take, too. I was a career state prosecutor, and I saw quite a few mistakes due to inexperience and ignorance. She could get disciplined if someone filed a complaint, but I don’t think disbarment is in the cards.

I have not seen the movie in a long time. But we might not even be talking about Seller’s performance all these years later had McClain not been so good at playing off him. It was her acting that gave the absurdist premise the right patina of believability. And the sex scene was hilarious.
