My great-aunt went to Wash, DC during WWII, leaving math teaching job in rural Iowa. Ret'd in the 80s.

As a teen, our family only knew her job was none of our business. Rumor was our grandma (her sister) knew.

Funeral obit listed her job as Signals Intelligence. Likely rolling in her grave.!

...DOGE is f'ing failed, was from the start.

Recall - a Zelensky presser alone would smear Biden publicly.

Similarly, a clown car cabinet, tariff-palooza, and the "Musk-a-DOGE" stooges distract from Trump's cash grab op's.

A "noble cause" efficient gov't fantasy keeps GOP/MAGA sedated. 🎩🃏

Donald Trump has disgraced the United States of America in countless ways since he first entered political life ten years ago.

But he had never disgraced the nation as badly as he did today.

He has brought shame on this country to an extent I had never thought possible. And he has only just begun.

Oh yeah, computers are famously bad at handling a lot of ... "transactions," was it, peepaw? ... quickly.

Every computer knower understands that, right?
Trump: "I did ask Elon because he knows more about computers than anybody I know. I said, what do you think of the voting system? He said, computers are not meant for voting. It's too many transactions taking place too quickly."

A small moment of grace in an ugly time.

We have a piano in our house, an old Yamaha, probably circa 1960-1965. It belonged to my parents. They both played growing up, and I have pictures of them playing together before I was born, though I don’t remember them ever playing.
