Looking at the early swing from Trump to Yes in places like Carbon and Forest Counties and Hempfield Township Westmoreland I think it’s looking good for retention. Still a long way to go.

Esmerlyn Valdez is on an all-time heater in the AFL and a number of fans on here have taken notice. 13 BBs and 7 HRs in 33 PAs is wild, but it is a super small sample. He’s earned a 40 man roster spot for sure, but I hope the Pirates aren’t planning on him to plug a hole for 2026.

Sharing one more time. There have been quite a few forks in the road that could have sent Bubba Chandler down a different path. The fact that he’s joining the Pirates today — or ever — was far from guaranteed.
The path he forged made him the best pitching prospect in the game.

Yes, Herky Pollock is a developer who makes a lot of money in Downtown Pittsburgh.
But to my knowledge, the stats that he cites in this post are true. Cultural Trust event attendance, hotel stays and tourism are all back to their pre-pandemic levels downtown. Good things are happening!
