I'm currently a Reliability Engineer on Azure and have been in tech for over 25yrs from Help Desk to the Cloud!

I'm also a professional #Photographer with a focus on event and #Equestrian #Photography - but I dabble in all types.

The mindless #AI push means that as engineers, instead of solving problems that need to be solved we're being repurposed to create #AI solutions to problems that don't actully exist. 1/3

Fellow #Photographers anyone out there have any suggestions for culling apps? I've been using Narrative Select but it just pushed a video in my face about AI Editing and then decided to start scanning my entire library without asking. I don't use, nor do I want to use AI Presets. #Photography

#AI is going to do one thing really well, make people dumber. The Internet on it's own has done a great job at that - but one thing I notice of newer engineers is that they lack troubleshooting skills. And most of them came up before AI. #Tech

After a fair amount of work I was able to get my #Photography website off of Squarespace and self host it. I'm hoping to do a photo blog series as well at some point, but my primary focus was just moving to start with.

After a bit of research I’m going to ditch Squarespace and move my photography website to ghost. I’m lucky enough to have the technical knowledge to self host which will save my side business some cash.

It’s insane how much Squarespace charges. Id always planned for it to be somewhat temporary.
