I'd really like to find a way to let Joules be less alluring. It's like we're trying to trick them.

I hadn't thought about the kilogram primacy. I'm curious how big a deal that is to us.

Every textbook or other lesson warns them not to equate newton*meters to Joules, despite the fact that a Joule is defined as a newton times a meter. It's confusing for students.

The imperial system goes with foot-pounds, which sounds like an MMA move but also at least gets the order right.

But there's... more than one?

"Get rid of the insurance companies" is not something I thought would come from a Republican POTUS...

I really regret that we missed the opportunity to have them visit us a couple of years ago.

It's just embarrassing as hell that anybody platforms his buffoonery. It's one of many reasons why the New York Times is of no use in this day and age. I can't even wrap fish in it, now that it's primarily digital.
