Shout-out to our Protest Elders. Thanks for coming out of retirement for this.

Extra huge shout-out to the Retired RN who saw the red tone to my hair and assigned herself as my Protest Mom today "because red heads always faint first". ❤️🤍💙

Look what I found when I searched "ICE uniform" in Google Shopping.

None of us have any way of knowing if the "ICE agent" pushing you into a car, isn't just some unbalanced vigilante into cosplay. These are very dangerous times.

Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.

I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.

Remind you of anyone?

250 years ago today, my ancestors' associates started The American Revolution. Today I continue their fight for freedom, and I honor all people who have fought for our freedoms. Stay tuned for little bits of music today.

Tonight is the Anniversary of The Midnight Ride. Paul Revere and ~40 other people rode 250 years ago tonight to prepare American forces.

Odd, how the United States doesn't have enough money to give sick veterans healthcare, impoverished seniors Social Security, or hungry schoolkids lunches, but it does have enough money to pay a Central American dictator millions to torture American residents in his brutal concentration camp.

What do you call humans being kidnapped and sent to another country to be imprisoned in shackles and forced to perform intense physical labor while living in horrid conditions under the threat of daily physical violence and rape?

Open a history book. You can do it. I believe in you.

Tyrants view educated citizens as their greatest enemy.

Slaveholders stopped the enslaved from learning to read. Nazis burned books. Dictators censor media.

That’s why Trump is attacking education, science, museums, and the arts – to prevent us from learning.

It's Fascism 101.

Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

Why do so many feel like they've fallen behind?

It's not because of immigrants, trans people, the “deep state,” or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP.

It's because big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains.

Protesting your University being financially entangled with a genocide is not supporting a terrorist organization. You can be against the actions of the Israeli government and IDF without supporting Hamas or hating the Israeli people. This is an authoritarian action and is absolutely unacceptable.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, says the National Science Foundation has given money to thousands of "woke DEI" studies. Researchers say that's misrepresenting science and disparaging important research.

Y'all ever have a moment where you absolutely disdain the way an author wrapped up every single plot point, but you don't want to complain about it because you're a nice person and they're an Indie Author? Like -- Idk man. Maybe I was just not the target audience for that book. Dang, though.

I'm good enough at math that I should have been able to 1.5x a recipe without putting in the flour needed for 3x the recipe, but here we are. 🤦‍♀️

I feel the need to make sure we all understand something that should have been taught in Middle School Civics. We all know that Facism is a Far-Right form of government and is not the same thing as Socialism, right?
