It probably cost more to build Ken’s personal private gym in City Hall than it does to run all these volunteer-led committees for four years.

Priorities?
Transparency?
The stated reasoning for cancelling these advisory committees 10 months earlier than scheduled includes allowing time for FIFA World Cup stuff and saving $171,000.

I always find the idea that TERFs are “feminists” to be pretty amazingly ignorant.

TERF ideology goes against feminist ideas in every possible way.

TERF claims to feminism are an Orwellianism, every bit as blatant as the “Ministry of Truth”

Millions of scientific hours have been spent studying hundreds of thousands of children in hundreds of peer-reviewed papers

All to debunk a study on 12 children by a gastroenterologist who was struck off in 2010

RFK Jr. just wants to keep a 27 year vaccine conspiracy alive

Went to power this morning! My yoga bestie was teaching 💖 Couldn’t find parking so had to park on P3 and it was $11. Ran up to ground and then two floors up to class and ran down the hall begging for them to let me in 3 minutes late. They did!! This is me 🥵 after class!

Had a nice talk with my yoga bestie today and now I feel so much better. How good it feels to be surrounded by good people.

As Americans protest in the streets and Canadians see a similar struggle looming, let’s pause and consider what exactly we mean by “democracy.”

When I see Steve Bannon doing a Nazi salute to cheers it means only one thing:

420,000 U.S. troops died defending our country from Nazi assholes and 77 million people voted for them to be in power.

MAGA betrayed our country voting for this nightmare.

Thank you Vancouver sports fans for staying home from Granville Island Market at lunchtime today so it was only very crowded, rather than “can barely move, huge lineups everywhere” crowded.

Sim's plan to pause net new supportive housing will have massive tragic consequences for people struggling in communities across our city. On a matter where we very clearly lag across the city, region and province, this signal isn't just an abdication of leadership - its a knife in the back for folk

For clarity, Sim's quoted intent is no net new supportive housing in Vancouver, period (not just DTES).

Vancouver has a growing need — not a diminishing need — for supportive housing. Sim's promised approach is reckless and cruel.
