No one is USING AI. They are TRAINING AI. No LLM is ready to be fully deployed. It's all early beta testing they are trying to convince you is actually a product. It is nowhere near its target goals for its intended uses. People aren't paying to use it; they're subsidizing its training. It's a scam.

For profit insurance is immoral. Full stop. An insurers' job isn't to "protect from unnecessary care"; it is to pay for customers care. Every dollar of profit earned is a dollar that didn't provide care to the sick/injured. It is an evil industry captained by the soulless for the sake of the greedy.

Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.

on payday i paid all of my credit cards, filled gas tanks, bought groceries & paid bills (aka sent my in-laws money instead of paying utilities or rent) & ended up overdrafting myself by $90. if this is only gonna get worse idk what to do with myself. someone hire my fucking fiance for christs sake.
