When I visited the magnificent Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin, their visitor centre had a great exhibition, including a vivid life size depiction of how people robbed graves. Very instructional!

I know that there is much in America that is sad at the moment, but it is a country that I love, and one from which my beautiful wife and lovely parents in law hale from. So a genuine Happy Independence Day from me to all Americans who may read this. I am wearing appropriate socks!

Albert George has decided that I am going to spend today acting as his pillow.

We have acquired some new kittens! Firstly - they are glorious! Secondly, our dog is being wonderful and adjusting well (although one of them - Gráinne - is living up to her name and being a proper, wonderful pirate!
