I used to just post about safe streets, but there's a lot going on right now. I'm worried about the climate, growing fascism, injustice, and my friends in Palestine. Also will be giving my observations of the US after living in Greece for 10 months.

I really thought we'd emerge from covid with an appreciation of the frailty of life. But Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan... the causal dehumanization of refugees... it's hard not to feel like we're all just bodies for the elite meat grinder.

It’s never about protecting women. That hand-wringing is usually a cover for controlling women, but in this particular circumstance I think the impetus is saving powerful men from the *indignity* of hitting on a trans woman. I really think their ego is behind this, and I’m rolling my eyes so hard.
