I dig comics, wrestling, films, tv, other stuff. I used to create stuff and may do so again.
It's been a weird year. I'm so many different people and none of them me. Does anybody understand that feeling?

I barely go on any of these social media sites/apps anymore. Mostly Instagram. Honestly, I feel better not seeing All Politics All The Time

Aw man, just saw that Jackson "Butch" Guice died. What a talented artist he was. His work on Resurrection Man made me a fan. Seeing his work before and after that run was always a treat.

This jackoff got the job BECAUSE he's ignored the past 40 years of science. Which is exactly what he's showing here.

I don't think so.

Been thinking about how well written and nuanced the characters are in Watchmen. I know some people look at Rorschach and see a hero to be emulated, but when I look at him I just see a vase of flowers

Entertainment things I finished today, in order:
Jupiter's Legacy: Finale, the final JL miniseries
The White Lotus S3
Sunrise On the Reaping, the latest Hunger Games novel

Rare that I feel like I accomplish anything

A headline I've seen constantly all week should actually read "Scientists Say They Have Resurrected the Dire Wolf - But They Did Not"

This morning I was reminded of an April Fools Day prank from years back that didn't go as intended. I changed my Facebook relationship status of "In A Relationship." Instead of laughing along, friends were overwhelimgly positive and happy for me. I felt so bad that I didn't reveal for weeks.

Absolute Martian Manhunter #1 was such a great comic. It's got that weird, classic Vertigo feel that I miss so much. And the page made for print? Loved it.

Kudos to @denizcamp.bsky.social @javierrodriguez.bsky.social and everybody else.

I like the idea of Pop-Tarts more than I enjoy eating them. Do they still make Toaster Scrambles? That's more my speed.

This is true. A pal of mine who is a policeman went to a Scottish island recently to investigate a missing person and when the locals found out he was a Christian they stuck him in a giant human-shaped willow branch construction and burned him alive.

I'm thoroughly mediocre and I know it. Put the right people in the right roles.
this confirms something i have long suspected, which is that certain people are told that their professional and academic failures are because of “affirmative action” or “DEI” as a way to avoid difficult conversations about their mediocrity www.wsj.com/lifestyle/ca...
You Blamed DEI for Hurting Your Career. Now What?
For people who pin their failures on diversity, corporate America’s DEI retreat removes a barrier—or maybe an excuse.
