My father-in-law has a subacute subdural with midline shift. One long week of monitoring prior to doing a burr hole because he was neuro intact and (largely) asymptomatic. Today’s repeat scan had less shift.
After losing my dad to a brain herniating subarachnoid, I can’t explain how happy I am. 😭

My mom used to drive her mom around for groceries, lunch, donuts from the bakery, sightseeing… usually spending half of her day off doing so each week.
I realized today, as I drove my own mom to grocery shop, why she did that. 🥰
