There seems to be some *confusion*
among Reform supporters over Nathan Gill being one of them

“But, but, Reform didn’t exist when he took his Russian bribes”

“But, but he was in UKIP”

“But, but it has nothing to do with Farage, he barely knew the guy”

So here’s a little history lesson 👍🏼🧵

It’s not too late to puncture the Reform leader’s populist myth. His ‘make Britain great again’ act is out of step with the British people, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland

Power is the rock on which truth founders. The mainstream media, with a few exceptions, is a single-issue lobby group, whose purpose is to assert the rights of capital.

The far-right peddles myths that migrants & refugees are to blame for rising bills and the cost-of-living crisis.

In truth, government choices – shaped by the super-rich & big corporations – are driving poverty and injustice.

Barclays Bank's CEO tells govt to cut wages of public sector workers instead of taxing banks.

Wants to cut wages of doctors, nurses, teachers, cleaners, drivers, cooks, security guards to give more to bankers.

Wage rises inflationary apparently but CEO pay, dividends aren't.

Petition: Ensure plurality of political coverage across UK broadcast media at all times
We want to ensure that a plurality of views from all political parties in Westminster are represented and the nations parliaments are heard all year round, not just election times. The rules for coverage during elections should apply at all times.

I've been in the UK 3 weeks, and I am shocked at how much Farage, Yousaf, Tice et al are on UK TV screens.
Britain has a serious far-right problem.
The ideology of these fascists has been magnified and platformed to the extreme, it has now gotten dangerously out of control. This is totally insane.

Farage’s “probity and judgment were sold as the product called Brexit. It turned out to be a piece of shit.”
And, unbelievably, this Labour govt finds itself trapped because it has refused to call this out.
What a profound - and now dangerous - political failure.

Low interest rates after 2008 failed to achieve any real growth or increase in living standards in the UK.

But this could be used to fund a joined-up, local approach to housing people seeking safety.
