It's so wild how this 1943 cartoon still works as a caution against Doomscrolling in 2025.

Many people today need to turn off the radio and listen to the helpful little gentleman in their heads named Reason.

Made a fantastic English fry up for Saturday for the first time in ages since moving house. I even tried some fantastic Polish potato pancakes called placki ziemniaczane, work fantastic as alternatives to the hashbrown-skeptics of the world. Sadly no photos 😋

Night 18 'Ghost Ship' (2002)

Like this film a lot. Always seems to fly under the radar but it's a solid ghost story 👻

Next time you think "My life is nothing but a comedy", remember:

In the most ancient sense of the word, kōmōidía (Greek) does not necessarily mean "funny" or "lighthearted": it means a story with a happy ending for the main characters, regardless of what happened to them along the way.

The lowbrow dominates culture and anyone who questions the status quo is dismissed as an elitist killjoy. But with bland algorithmic content on the rise, perhaps we consumers should start taking our art a bit more seriously

Re: LRT, there has never been a better time to dive headfirst into independent media. Indie games, indie movies, indie comics. Your media dollars support artists, not the corporations mining them like a resource, and it’s the best way to get an authentic, interesting experience now.

Advice:
While researching, reading material before writing your own, if it spawns an idea write the idea down IMMEDIATELY.
