Especially when undiagnosed autistic people exist.

Like it or not, if you want to accommodate autistic people then you're going to just have to leave your judgments at the door and accept you need to leave weird people alone. Even if you don't know for sure that they are autistic or not.

Because autistic people should not have to disclose a medical diagnosis in order to avoid being mocked and ostracized for things that don't harm you or anybody else. Ruthlessly deriding people for these traits and then tacking on "oh, but if they are autistic then it's fine", doesn't help.

Middle school kids who Naruto run down the hall. Thirty-something adults who still live with their parents because they can't find stable employment. People who identify as stargender and use neopronouns. Picky eaters. Adults in fandoms. People who have funny accents. People who dress eccentrically.

It's unworkable by design.
