The Isley’s are insane, like, historically. People make a big deal about the Beatles range & evolution but it’s ridiculous Shout (1959) and Between the Sheets (1983) were by the same band! They arguably continued their run into the aughts if you count big samples

I have a theory that the low turnout for the primary was because centrists underestimated Wilson, and then freaked out when she did so well - then they woke up and tried to prevent the scary progressive from winning, and almost succeeded

The 00s were overall a great and creative decade (not perfect, obv), starting with Discovery and ending with The ArchAndroid. When the clock flipped to 2010, I retreated to underground music again.

2005 is probably the best 00s music year.

Honestly the only thing you’re missing are some mostly fun movies that each tick at least half a dozen problematic bullet points, depending on the era.

Much like the band Chicago, I’m glad I experienced the catalog of work, but I would never tell anyone to bother.

Good question. I did that once then took a 3 year break and came back because I was still social-media addicted.
