Over the past 10 years, the richest 1% captured 41% of new wealth since the year 2000, while the bottom 50% of humanity have increased their wealth by just 1%. High wealth inequality in particular undermines both democracy and economic progress.

International crimes are possible because of their funders, enablers and profiteers. Existing responses to such conduct are inadequate. We call on all stakeholders to commit to bringing to account those who fund or profit from international crimes.

Transnational repression (TNR) is when governments reach across borders to silence dissent among exiles. We've seen a dramatic increase in the use of TNR. We call on the UK Government to create a new sanctions regime targeting perpetrators and enablers of TNR.
