Telegram has successfully avoided coming under direct supervision of the European Commission under the EU's Digital Services Act. The "poor man's dark web" remains unregulated, for now.

I spent years professionally trying to judge the newsworthiness of events. The sad truth - events are judged in a totally different way if they happen to rich people.
