If there exists such a thing, I would like to see a list of Republicans that publicly denounced the shooting of Melissa Hortman and her husband.

If you're opposed to Charlie Kirk's position on guns, you must condemn his being shot. To do otherwise is hypocritical. The irony of his death does not absolve a person of that hypocrisy.

I find that the quality of a person in my view hinges less on what they believe, and more on how easily they are offended by things contrary to those beliefs. Often, there is something that can be learned from or taught to an opposing point of view, but taking offense prevents both.

What frustrates me the most about politics is how much time is spent yelling at a caricature of a democrat or republican and denying the nuance of any individual or their genuine intentions. America is too large to have just two kinds of people, and I'd like us all to be nicer to each other.
