The last two days, before I start studying, I've been playing around with a 2x2 rubix cube. Maybe I should start timing how long it takes me?
...mind you that's like 20min. But still. It'd be fun to see if I get any better at it.

apod.nasa.gov/apod/ is one of my favorite websites. It is what it says it is! It's not fancy! Just a new picture every day!
Astronomy Picture of the Day
A different astronomy and space science related image is featured each day, along with a brief explanation.

Here’s another recent one about how overdoses involving antidepressants have also been rising for years. I learned about how doctors have become less cautious in their prescribing practices in ways that can make antidepressants more dangerous

Antidepressant-linked overdose deaths in US have climbed for two decades
Number of US deaths involving antidepressants (5,863) in a year on par with those involving heroin (5,871)

So I finally finished reading "Ninth House" and have... mixed feelings about it?
It's, the written equivalent of a TV show. It's fun to read, but it's not well written. While reading it's enjoyable, but you know you'll never read it again. You won't be recommending it to people. 1/?

I hope the next person that says "just use a study room" in response to complaints that libraries are too loud has the lady next to me yapping on her phone forever nearby when they need to focus.
I just. Want. Somewhere. Quiet. To. Work.

I'm going to finish this bottle of wine and either get too drunk to do math or finish some of my homework.
November 19, 2024 at 4:46 AM
Why why why why why do people think it's okay to talk in designated quiet areas of libraries? It's not okay to talk. Not even quietly. Not even on the phone. And it's not okay to play videos out loud either. Please go somewhere without half a dozen signs telling you to be quiet!

From a glass negative from my collection. With a lot of the photos in my collection I love them not so much for the specific composition but simply the wonderful fact that someone loved this little cat enough to create this negative - a significant task - and then carefully store it for decades. ❤️
