It IS better if you finish that project
But it's great if you create at all

Sometimes you must push yourself if you want to get it done
But sometimes forcing it will just overexert and exhaust you

If it doesn't need to be done now
Then come back tomorrow

If it keeps you creating
Open a new canvas

hmm... question for people!

I've been mulling this over, but does anyone ever have a weird feeling about doing similar concepts as other artists?

I do understand nothing's truly "original" besides your own spin on something, but it's a hurdle I can't seem to overcome. I fret over being a copycat

Started watching four episodes of vintage anime (Sailor Moon, Patlabor, Slayers, Gundam) every week with Discord friends and can't stress enough how watching fun stuff with online friends is a low-cost, low-effort way to help you feel better about shit. Can't recommend it enough.

If only practicing the art fundamentals (and drawing nothing else) to get good doesn't work for you, don't do it.

It doesn't work for most.

Do whatever makes drawing fun enough to do it consistently and without overthinking to the point of self-sabotage.

Study after.
