I am here, not there! One day, one step at a time. Wondering if I took a wrong turn and ended up in the wrong universe where there is so much anger and hate it is sticky! Replacing the negatives with kindness when I can.
Long before Nazi Germany, systems like slave patrols, forced removals of Native peoples, reservation camps, and racial pass systems existed in the U.S. Historians have shown that these models were studied abroad and helped normalize forms of state control later used by authoritarian regimes.

Just days after a group of Trump-aligned billionaires officially took over TikTok in the U.S., users reported their videos criticizing ICE and the shooting of Alex Pretti were suppressed or delayed.

The oligarchy is tightening its grip over even more of our media.

Beware.

Last year, a human trafficking victim trapped in a crypto scam compound in the Golden Triangle region of Laos contacted me. He then proceeded to leak to me a huge collection of the compound's internal materials.

Then he had to get out alive. This is his story.

The guy genuinely gave a shit.

And the empathy vampires murdered him for it.

I just noticed something ironic! The White House is using the phrase “ Lawful Immigration Enforcement“ [LIE] when talking about ICE Operations.

So when they are talking about ICE,
they are talking about a LIE…

hey, we can work with this!

Let me point out how carefully the White House is choosing its language every time it talks about Minnesota. This is deliberate and strategic: •“Agitators” when talking about protesters. •“Left-wing...

A heartfelt tribute to ICE victim Alex Pretti, by his coworkers at the VA hospital in Minneapolis. Just recently, Alex was standing strong at one end of a similar gurney, with one of his patients who had passed away under that flag.

Alex Pretti. Renee Good. And so many others who are still alive, but have been through horror. This article focuses on Pretti, a martyr, and Abernathy, still alive. It also brings up the witness to escape to tell her story and her video of Alex’s last moments.

I learned something new today from Black American history. The slave patrols were a strong inspiration for the Gestapo. This has been around longer than brown shirts. Also the treatment of Native Americans with the camps and so on were yet another inspiration for Hitler’s Germany.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

Seriously, @people.com has been meeting the moment better than 90% of publications with direct reporting and crystal clear headlines.

This is a good way for the low-information voters who are usually detached from the news cycle to get turned around.

Pouring more money into DHS while it operates with impunity and a blatant disregard for human life is unconscionable.

You don’t fix abuse by funding it. You stop it by cutting off its funding and dismantling the institution that’s terrorizing communities.
