I've started to keep a physical diary again, one I used for a month in 2021 before forgetting about it. I kept a couple diaries as a kid, never finished them cause of ADHD. This one I'm going to finish.

I feel like I've had days where I'd be more "myself" if I wasn't male, like I'd be more comfortable in my body if I presented more feminine or something in between. These days used to be really rare, a couple times a year or more, but I've had these thoughts more frequently the past couple months.

I look forward to the day when this current fascist regime finally crumbles to dust. It can't come soon enough, and today really felt like a turning point towards its inevitable downfall. Fingers crossed.

People really need to rewatch the old Twilight Zone episode "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street" and keep in mind our current political climate. There always seems to be greater powers working behind the scenes to keep us divided, giving us a scapegoat or an "Other" to fear. They're exploiting us.

I've seen a surprising number of small creative youtubers, people who focus on filmmaking, vfx, or scriptwriting, move towards the AI-bro grifter pipeline. It's so incredibly disheartening.

I don't know why Clip Studio Paint doesn't seem to have a Layer Offset/Wraparound feature to help with making seamless textures like GIMP or Photoshop does, but it's very annoying and frustrating and inconvenient.

I've never been very confident in my lackluster drawing ability. That being said, seeing the AI Ghibli posts really makes me want to learn how to draw out of pure spite for these art thieves. Even if my 2d work isn't good, I still want to try. Screw GenAI.
