and that's good. it's beautiful and precious because I know there's no other like it, and it shatters your soul to know that it exists and is possible. I have to be protective because it is all we have. we have so little, but it is a little miracle
Billy's vow to Teddy. What hits me the most is always Billy admitting that he is needy. Teddy's vow to Billy. There's nothing more beautiful than a shapeshifter never having to take on different shapes but the shape of his true self.

still remember when I first finished reading everything about billy and teddy, it felt like your most impossible dreams were merely casual reality for others. one may dislike the characters but you can never deny their love, or the weight of their bond and how it outweighs all other relationships-
