Congrats to Lisa Murkowski on voting for a bill that she herself admitted was not ready in hopes that the House would change it. Now it’ll become law. She had the power to stop it, and instead chose to become complicit. That’s her legacy.

A government ban on Hungary’s Pride parade backfired Saturday as over 100,000 people marched through Budapest, far more than usual

PM Viktor Orban warned people to stay away, threatening “clear legal consequences.” But the warnings only turned a modest event into a mass rally against his government

2.977 people died on 9/11.
The daily quote for ICE is 3000.
I think putting it in terms like that puts it into perspective.
They want one 9/11 every day.

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

This is why lawmakers need to act on a universal requirement that ICE be (like ALL OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT) identifiable to the public at all times.

It's a safety issue. Everyone's safety, including theirs.
If random men in masks claiming to be ICE agents try to grab me, and they’re *not* really ICE, I have the legal right to defend myself against them, yes? And if they are ICE, I don’t?

So how am I supposed to tell the difference? I’m supposed to give my masked kidnappers the benefit of the doubt??
I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles

How am I ever supposed to be friends with someone who voted for this?
An Afghan man who worked as a translator for the U.S. military during the war was detained by ICE after showing up for a hearing inside of a federal courthouse in San Diego, his attorney says. He fears that if he returns to Afghanistan, he would be tortured or even killed, @nbcsandiego.com reports.

The Senator who should be censured is Mike Lee—for his vile posts after the brutal murders of two elected officials and attempted murders of two more in Minnesota.

Not Senator Padilla, who was also a victim of violence—courtesy of puppy-killer Kristi Noem.

Marines training for war are now being deployed against American citizens. This crosses a dangerous line.
