My mom has been in hospital for 12 days. Except when he’s stayed late, my dad has received a visit every evening from his Afghan neighbour’s 2 daughters, stopping to check on my mom and bring him dinner.

Wow! I had heard obesity was an issue in the US, but hearing Americans will lose an average of 390 pounds per person, it would seem the problem is worse than one could imagine. 😳
Oz: We thought it was 125 million pounds. Our estimate is Americans will lose 135 billion pounds by the midterms
