Ha I love It’s a Wonderful Life & La Vita è Bella (Life Is Beautiful) too! Last time (of the many times!) I watched It’s a Wonderful Life was in Montreal, winter 2013 w/ my aunt. Gonna rewatch that this Christmas. And La Vita è Bella I had to watch for my basic Italian class in undergrad lol

Been here for swimming, books & indie bookstores, arts & artists, cats & dogs, news, causes that I support, & sometimes even for (cafeteria) Catholicism.

I love this app but can only tolerate a certain level of exposure. Still a very private person, if it isn’t so obvious. I don’t reveal locations especially workplaces & don’t share pics of kids though I love my nephews, nieces, friends’ kids, little students. Wish everyone can understand.

I can read cursive well too. I have an adult student who told me that when she moved here, teachers instructed her to write in print cause they can’t understand cursive. She was told: “You write like it’s the Declaration of Independence.” We’re the same, educated in a Catholic school abroad.

My other fave is Letter P! The book is a visual feast. This is the first time I’ve purchased the 30th Anniversary Edition. Highly recommended AND please get it from @bookshop.org to support indie bookstores!!!

My friend has 3 boys. She & her husband take turns reading w/ them every night. So books are always a good idea. For the holidays, I’m giving them Animalia by Graeme Base, a picture book that helps kids develop their vocabs. I’ve given this to many mom friends over the years! My fave is Letter C!

Have always loved Bear and Wolf even when I was still in the PH. Reading these books last night made me realize Bruce Handy is quite the children’s book writer. Now one of my faves! Won’t even begin with the illustrators because they’re all amazing!
