@marklab.bsky.social is heading to Cambridge, MA! Our very own Ian Sartor will be at the ASBMB symposium on proteomics, where he'll present our lab's latest research. Don't miss his flash talk and poster - we can't wait to connect with everyone there!

Another huge relief was the receipt of our P20 INBRE grant that funds research throughout Wyoming. A major goal is to provide research opportunities to students at UW and WY community colleges. Students from different backgrounds all deserve a chance to learn about science and prove themselves. 2/2

While our whole field has been experiencing undeserved turmoil, a few of us have been fortunate enough to receive positive news on funding. This link describes positions that are now open in the Fay Lab. Perhaps some who’ve been displaced can find a home with us. 1/2

It's been hard for early career biologists looking for postdocs, so I created a Google Sheet where we can all compile fellowships/job boards/postdoc opportunities in one place. PLEASE SHARE WIDELY! If you're a PI looking for postdocs, you can add to the 4th tab! docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

As federal funding for research is uncertain, we need to diversify funding sources for our PhD students.

Here is a comprehensive list of >160 PhD fellowships and funding opportunities, mostly from private foundations and scientific societies.
