Any true crime book recommendations? Something that won't have me absolutely terrified of life on Earth, but that is a fascinating, easy read.

I am absolutely exhausted with the number of not actually white celebrities/people who have been given proximity to whiteness, and confuse it with actually being white and uphold the interests of white supremacy. This, to me, is the real "sell your soul to the devil".

The last few days it's been "Stranger I'm My House"!
Me waking up with some random song that I’ve not listened to in years stuck in my head.

If your argument is "sure, a terrible modern event has a parallel in the 1920s and 30s but don't worry we turned out just fine", might I suggest reading about the 1940s.

Figured my first post should be to shamelessly plug my daughter's Girl Scout cookie endeavor for anybody else who is planning to maintain their dopamine over the next 4 years by any means necessary!

In your head, take your mentors & guides & safe people w/ you today. Check in w/ them in your mind, in your imagination. If you had unequivocally supportive mentors & guides on your shoulder or in your ear 24/7, what would they say, & how would they say it?

Imagine. Hear it.

I wonder how many upper-class British dudes in history had severe inattentive-type ADHD and no one ever noticed it because they had neurotypical valets

I recommitted myself to taking care of myself to the best of my ability this morning.
I recommitted myself to Love this morning.
I reminded myself that they want us scared and tired.

"Victim" is not a bad word-- & it behooves us all to get curious about who has been working, effortfully, to make it taboo & shameful to identify as a victim. Who benefits from there being "no true victims," except those who "choose" to be victim?

That's right. Perpetrators.
