I can. not. believe. just how much faster the Face Recognition in Lightroom Classic is on my M4 mini (with everything on SSD's) compared to my Intel iMac. It's incredible. #LightroomClassic

Look what they are selling at Barnes & Noble!

I worked so hard on this cover and freaked out when I saw it on the shelf. And it had premium placement! 😭

Part of the fun of these kinds of illustrations in context is the janky, home made feel of the graphics. Having them be “photorealistic” is boring. Let’s hope The Daily Show/John Oliver/The Onion do not follow suit.
SNL used AI art tonight, multiple times.

Booooooo.

This is really good.

Also, I'm a pretty big Cameron fan, and I didn't know how much he seems to love Carpenter's "Halloween".

(Mark should play Ripley to even the playing field ☝️)
I've loved Sigourney Weaver ever since one of my all-time favorite movies, ALIEN. Couldn't resist going all fanboy on her yesterday & asking for a photo. She told me she's now in the cast of The Mandalorian. Talk about bad timing: she's now in that galaxy far, far away, years after I checked out! 💔

I'm about 80% through reading The Godfather. It's...well, it's certainly not what I expected, that's for sure. The sheer amount of side-questing contained in these pages is certainly not what I was prepared for.

I just showed my kids 4K77 and 4K80 and they loved it. FX hold up incredibly well to this day.
What's going to be funny about this restoration of the original version of SW is that some people are going to freak out when they see the (fabulous) original VFX from that era.

"Digitised artwork was very popular back then, looking at Midway’s other title Mortal Kombat, but we had something else in mind right from the start, which would use the license to its full potential in a retro-inspired game. All the pixel artwork and animation work in our game is fully hand-drawn."
