I prefer to own albums, buy the CDs, the vinyl, or downloads if that's the only option. However, streaming can have a place & I'm really appreciating Qobuz's Connect tech. Plays directly to my hi-fi from phone, laptop, or iPad without any impact from other system sounds. Excellent sound quality.

Avebury, undoubtedly one of the most remarkable places in England. It's been a couple of years since I last visited, time for another visit soon.

🔥 Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances.

A new decade-long Brexit study quantifies it:

A 6–8% hit to GDP

That's £180bn-£240bn a year

It means less tax revenue and so less money for everything.

Brexit made Britain MUCH poorer.
New: Boris Johnson’s ‘Brexit Titanic success’ was half right
Nearly ten years on, the first full assessment of Brexit confirms what millions warned: Britain made itself poorer

Recent research showed that a huge proportion (87%) of Brits rely on hanging wet clothes inside their homes – and they’re unknowingly causing serious issues.

A study by the University of Manchester found that drying a wet load of washing indoors can release two litres of water into your home.
The mould truth: Expert warns Brits of one common habit that brings damp into their homes
As winter returns, and households dry laundry indoors, new research suggests this is contributing to dangerous mould problems in the home

that it kisses them so gently?❄️
and then it covers them up snug - you know
with a white quilt

(Obvious bias aside) this compilation is a wonderful listen

Full of great tracks from start to end, a range of styles beautifully executed, yet still speak coherently

Give the artists involved a follow

It's Tapir Tuesday! 😀

Today I got to spend some time up close with George and Tia, the Lowland Tapirs at Peak Wildlife Park.

What an experience! I was grinning from ear to ear throughout.

Big thanks to keeper Amy, who was simply amazing.
