Just switched from Game Pass Ultimate to Core on Xbox. I wasn't getting enough out of it. I didn't use the Xcloud, or EA play and since the brill Indiana Jones, everything after has been middling and underwhelming. I'm only looking forward to the Outer Worlds 2, and I can get that on a Steam sale.

Xbox Xcloud feels improved. Played Jedi Survivor on Xcloud tonight and expected it to feel laggy especially since it's locked at the Series S version's 30fps on cloud and it felt great. I was parrying blows and taking names.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black starts out really strong but I'm finding the later chapters tedious. Constantly rocket launched by remote enemies while fighting tanky mechs that take ages to kill.

As a trans person, all I can say is 2025 is already shaping up to be a terrifying year. The news coming out of America is horrifying. The way we are seen as monsters rather than people is making me lose hope.

Rescued an Xbox One X that I was given for free as it was showing an error on boot. Just needed an offline USB update. I now have a streaming box for the bedroom it seems.

A huge thing I like about Genshin Impact on Xbox is it lets you choose the server region, so I can play with my American friend. I was surprised when this game came to Xbox, and more surprised it wasn't region locked like the PS5 version is.
