By throwing Fortnite Crew in, it's like they are trying to make it hard for parents to cancel the sub. It's also really crappy how they are announcing this - "Subscription price will update" is so weaselly.

You're doubting just how many fans they have. Nintendo is the Apple of the gaming world. People will buy the Switch 2 in droves no matter the pricing.

My heart is set on the Xbox+Asus collab handheld. I might have got a switch 2 if it weren't for that.

Upscaling still takes compute time and RAM. Expecting the Switch 2 to upscale to 4k from low resolutions seemed an ask.

The thing that would make this less attractive is if Sony found a way to block their Steam releases from being played on it. I wouldn't put it past them to do that.
