I always get real tempted to try to jump off from a swing and see how far I can go like I did when I was little, but so far my brain has been diligent in reminding me that I should probably not test these rickety old ankles. Luckily, swings without jumps are adequately whimsical.

During the shadow, went on a week-long road trip not realizing that my car was missing an axle bolt. Car behaved well the whole trip. When I got home, took car in for maintenance, and they noticed the bolt missing from one wheel. They told me, "We're not sure why the axle and wheel didn't fall off"

They just called me and were like "The sensor is sending bad data, but it's because an axle bolt fell off of one of the wheels somehow? They get loose sometimes, but it's strange that it's completely gone... We're not totally sure how the front axle didn't fall off." 👀👀👀

I hope the universe gives you a treat. I went to game 7 in '14. It was financially irresponsible, but the energy at a game like that is indescribable.

Glad that the Jays beat the Yanks of course, but the dopey nerd in me is rooting for a Seattle Mariners vs Seattle Pilots series. A battle of air vs water.
